From May 7. 2012 you will find in all music stores and digital the new album of Danilo Rossi and Stefano Bezziccheri, “La viola romantica” (CD+DVD).
Continue the valuable collaboration between Limenmusic and two leading musicians, First Viola Soloist of La Scala Theatre in Milan, M° Danilo Rossi and the pianist Stefano Bezziccheri.
In this third volume they proposed to the public a repertoire organized around the theme of romanticism, an adjective that over time has been subject of so intense historical debates and critical ambiguities.
Here are the executions of three authors who, while remaining distant musically and personally, are linked by the use of the same romantic language: Schumann, Schubert and Glinka: a very close and continuous dialogue between soloist and accompaniment able, once again, to create a slow and thoughtful atmosphere.

Here you can find a review (in Italian version) about the latest album of Danilo Rossi and Stefano Bezziccheri, “La viola del ’900″, published on ARCHI Magazine.
*****

The aristotelic concept of unity of place, grounding of classical and neoclassical theatre theories, becomes one of the favorit targets in Romantic and late Romantic age. In this regard how is italian opera composers and librettists behaviour along the whole Nineteenth Century? What pathes eachone of them follows in their production? Beyond aesthetical and poetic acceptance, what do the authors’ choises, reveal? what kind of lecture towards the world and reality do they give? In fact, is important to remember that operists’ products and critics’ theories, not only in musical context, always express historic and cultural contexts…

Today is another important day for classical music, infact on March 1st 1810 a few kilometres far from Varsavia was born one of the great masters of Romantic music, Frédéric François Chopin.
Child-prodigy pianist and composer, called “The poet of piano“; during his career he invented the instrumental ballade and made major innovations to the piano sonata, mazurka, waltz, nocturne, polonaise, ètude, impromptu, scherzo and prélude.
Limenmusic pays tribute to this great musicians with a CD dedicated to his works, a precise guided crossing of compositive poetics,of the various nuances and different psychological and stylistic landscapes proposed by the Polish musician. Listen to the album running, or even randomly, the audience can perceive the entire universe of Chopin, all its prerogatives, all its innovative and inventive subtleties: innovative as for the technique, inventive because they create new horizons for the listening, the emotion, the feeling.
The performer is a talented Jaanese pianist Takahiro Yoshikawa. He took his first steps into the world of music in his homeland, then he moved to Italy, where he made himself well known, as a winner of many international competitions, playing in the most important halls (included the Teatro alla Scala in Milan), as a soloist and with high-level chamber groups.
