BIOGRAPHY:

Stefano Bezziccheri started his musical activity in Forlì, under the teaching of Jone Bellagamba and successively with Lidia Proietti at Conservatory G.B. Martini of Bologna, where he graduated with first class honours.
He than undertook advanced post graduate studies with Lya De Barberiis at Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia of Rome, where he earned a diploma with honour.
When he was young he won several national and international piano competitions, so starting a precocious concert activity as both solo pianist and piano duo.
In 1988 he started a fruitful collaboration with Danilo Rossi (First solo Viola of Teatro della Scala orchestra), performing hundreds of recitals in Italy and Europe, playing a complete repertoire of music for viola and piano and working together in master classes and specialization stages.
He performed several audio and video recordings in Italian Television Companies.
He normally plays piano-duo with Pier Luigi Di Tella and in several groups of chamber music with very famous international musicians: Francesco Manara, Sonig Khatcherian, Dora Schwarzberg, Mario Brunello, Enrico Dindo, Alexander Gebert, Alfredo Persichilli, Enrico Bronzi, Luca Simoncini, Giampaolo Pretto, Fabrizio Meloni, Corrado Giuffredi, Giuseppe Ettorre, Sergio Azzolini.
In duo with Danilo Rossi and with chamber music groups he played in theatrical performances of words and music with Alessandro Baricco, Stefano Benni, Ascanio Celestini and recently with Licia Maglietta at Teatro alla Scala di Milano.
He played as solo piano in prestigious orchestras: Orchestra dell’Accademia del Teatro alla Scala, l’Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, l’Orchestra d’Archi Italiana, L’Orchestra del Teatro Regio di Parma, l’Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano e Trento, l’Orchestra del Teatro di San Remo, l’orchestra I Solisti di Pavia.
Stefano Bezziccheri is Teacher in G.B. Martini Conservatory of Bologna.
