On March 2012 will be available the new album of Quartetto Prometeo!
Two compositions that belong to classical repertoire, Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Serioso” and Franz Schubert’s “Das Tod und das Mädchen”, are protagonists of the new volume of Limen Black Line series. A program transcribed by Mahler during his early working years with the Vienna Philharmonics, and today proposed by the renowned Italian string quartet, Quartetto Prometeo.
Since the beginning this artists, thanks to an excellent execution, both technically and emotionally, give to the listener the intensity and the power of this two beautiful works.
The DVD contains also interviews of great value given by two leading artists of the national and international music scene: Salvatore Sciarrino and Salvatore Accardo, who talk about their personal relationship with Quartetto Prometeo.

From April 4th, 2011 will be available in major music stores and e-commerce site an important discographical production, entirely dedicated to Ivan Fedele‘s complete works for piano.
In this album (CD+DVD box set), the italian pianist Ciro Longobardi, take us in this wonderful journey through Ivan Fedele’s works, starting from the intense and bright colors of South Pole’s landscapes, evoked by the Études series: 5 Études Boreales (1990) and 5 Études Australes (2003) to the beginning, with “Toccata” (1983), extremely important piece from an affective point of view for Ivan Fedele, because full of memories of his early experiences on the piano.
Includes also performances of Nachtmusik (2008) and Cadenze I-IX: a quarter of a century (1983-2008) of music by Fedele, accompanied by a double interview with the composer by Cesare Fertonani and Virginio Sala.

On Thursday 25th November 2010 Virginio Sala will meet Patrick Gallois, internationally renowed flautist and conductor.
Currently is the Artistic Director and principal conductor of Sinfonia Finlandia, but also guest conductor of various orchestras throughout the world.
Still active with flute performance dates, Gallois manages to keep a stable balance between the highest standards of both arts and develops international respect in all areas of his work.
Together with M° Gallois, Virginio Sala will also meet Mariateresa Dellaborra, editor of the critical edition of the Concerto in G major for Flute and Orchestra by the italian composer Saverio Mercadante, published by Suvini-Zerboni.
The same day at the Teatro dal Verme in Milan, the Concerto in E major op. 49 for flute and orchestra will be performed, in the critical edition of Marieteresa Dellaborra, by Patrick Gallois and the Orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali, with a repeat performance at the same venue and with the same artists on November 27.
The concert has been handed down in manuscript copy preserved in the library of the Conservatory “San Pietro a Majella” in Naples, and opened the series of compositions for flute and orchestra by Mercadante proposals for the first time in a critical edition with the aim to present a unified and comprehensive body of this important concert, providing a lesson that takes into account all the significant variants attested by witnesses who have handed the text over time, not neglecting to highlight the relationship between author and the tradition in which it is embedded.
