Find “La viola romantica” in music stores and digital

Finally you can find in all music stores and digital the new album of  Danilo Rossi and Stefano Bezziccheri, “La viola romantica” (CD+DVD).
Continue the valuable collaboration between Limenmusic and two leading musicians, First Viola Soloist of La Scala Theatre in Milan, M° Danilo Rossi and the pianist Stefano Bezziccheri.
In this third volume they proposed to the public a repertoire organized around the theme of romanticism, an adjective that over time has been subject of so intense historical debates and critical ambiguities.
Here are the executions of three authors who, while remaining distant musically and personally, are linked by the use of the same romantic language: Schumann, Schubert and Glinka: a very close and continuous dialogue between soloist and accompaniment able, once again, to create a slow and thoughtful atmosphere.

Backgrounds and foregrounds II, by Sonia Arienta

The background is an objective element, big screen where the time of the (hi)Story flows, while the foreground focalises the attention towards details, where the individual acts. The background receives the time flux; the foreground describes the instant’s particular aspect, the plot’s development. Backclothes descriptions take allegorical characteristics, they delineate an objective “commentary”, the world nearby the individual intimate, private dimension. In Guillaume Tell first scene, the title role’s home is setted in foreground, nearby the torrent and other village’s houses; in the last scene it appears faraway, enveloped by flames, sign of extreme help’s request transmitted by Gemmy to Swiss countrymen. This house’s recession toward the foreground is a sort of warning concerning the renunciation of individual good in favour of the common one: the sacrifice of Tell’s home permits to free the Country from the tyrant’s arrogance.

Happy birthday Chopin!!!!

Today is another important day for classical music, infact on March 1st 1810 a few kilometres far from Varsavia was born one of the great masters of Romantic music, Frédéric François Chopin.
Child-prodigy pianist and composer, called “The poet of piano“; during his career he invented the instrumental ballade and made major innovations to the piano sonata, mazurka, waltz, nocturne, polonaise, ètude, impromptu, scherzo and prélude.
Limenmusic pays tribute to this great musicians with a CD dedicated to his works, a precise guided crossing of compositive poetics,of the various nuances and different psychological and stylistic landscapes proposed by the Polish musician. Listen to the album running, or even randomly, the audience can perceive the entire universe of Chopin, all its prerogatives, all its innovative and inventive subtleties: innovative as for the technique, inventive because they create new horizons for the listening, the emotion, the feeling.
The performer is a talented Jaanese pianist Takahiro Yoshikawa. He took his first steps into the world of music in his homeland, then he moved to Italy, where he made himself well known, as a winner of many international competitions, playing in the most important halls (included the Teatro alla Scala in Milan), as a soloist and with high-level chamber groups.

Takahiro Yoshikawa, young and talented Japanese pianist, took his first steps into the world of music in his homeland, before moving to Italy, where he made himself well known, as a winner of many international competitions, playing in the most important halls (included the Teatro alla Scala in Milan), as a soloist and with high-level chamber groups.Given the exiting successes of his first album, published in 2009, devoted to Frèdéric Chopin’w works, Limen music & arts proposes a new discographical production (CD+DVD), where Takahiro Yoshikawa performs pieces dedicated to the suggestions of the night, readind it in a new, and deeply original, key, infact all the works refer to the same “black” key, in which the fingers more often caress the keyboard rather than strike it.
